“Hello
Jay, I am Angel! I’ve come to escort you to your absolution. Will you take a
ride with me?” She asked as her magical carriage appeared.
It felt as though we
were molded together, she was an angel indeed. “Yes I will take a ride with
you.”
The destination was far from home. Bones ached after such a
long distance. The angel held my hand when she spoke to me. “Through that door
is where I am truly from. Many aspects of my personality you have not yet
witnessed is within. However, I brought you here because I want to give you the
opportunity to join my tribe. Enlisting will give you truth and allow you to
ascend in every aspect within the universes. Many have attempted this and
failed.”
“My
life has made me very tired. I feel stuck and out of place in this world.
Joining your tribe sounds likes a new beginning for me, and I do trust you, so
I will accept.”
“Fantastic!
You must first attempt the Ten Wonders
before joining. Humans can never make it to the first Wonder, but some have
made it to the tenth or in between. Your journey is your own and no one else’s.
Through that door is our Shaman, a man, woman, tall and short of all colors.
Shaman is whatever you need it to be in order to successfully pass through the
test. At the end you will be prized with a personal trinket that will forever
be the center of your ascension. Go, and I do not need to say good luck to
you.”
She released my hand and allowed her body to break down
riding the flow of the wind. I watched
her dust hit the door and soak within its wood. The moment I took my first
step, I could feel coming from the other side of the door and my chest became
filled with instant joy. Whatever the tribe was doing in there, they were
listening to some funky tunes. The music called out to me, guided me. I placed
my hand around the diamond doorknob and turned it immediately I got sucked
inside and the door slammed shut.
Knowing that I accepted enlistment in the tribe, The Shaman
appeared to me wearing ears of a lion, a unicorn horn perfectly sharpened upon his
forehead and with rainbow wings resting on his back.
“Hello
jay! No one will judge you here! Get comfortable and allow this place of
solitude to become your sanctuary as it has became ours. Angel tells me you are
willing to join our tribe, therefore I forged this key just for you.” Shaman
closed his yellowed sparkling eyes and his horn manifested a very tiny key.
“This is yours to place underneath your tongue. Everyone has one; it will
connect with your mind and spirit and start you on your test of the Ten
Wonders. There really aren’t any rules but one, and that’s to remember that no
matter what you see or hear, just tell yourself, it’s the Ten Wonders!”
I didn't know him; I
never met him, though he whispered in my ear over the cascading music, words of
knowledge. I knew that once the key was placed, there would be no turning back.
Something in my life wasn't right; it felt like I was missing intangible
information to keep on living. So I
accepted the Shaman’s key and followed his instructions placing it under my
tongue. I waited for the Universes to unlock its doors and open itself to me.
I was taken to the rest of the group. The eight of us stood
around a large brown marbled table as the shaman passed his pipe around along
with his chalice of water for all to partake. Time itself slowed and left us.
We all started seeing space around us differently and shapes dancing to beats
our hearts were pounding to. As the chalice was reclaimed by the Shaman, his
elbow knocked over the source of the enchanting beverage and that’s when I saw
a river form in front of me and then retreat back into the container.
The heat of energy engulfed my skin. I stood there in the
mist of eight others absorbing the energy steaming off of them. Never had I
felt such an elevated state of existence. My hand trembled and vibrated as I
closed my mind to the artificial world I once roamed in unwillingly. I left
behind every ounce of unneeded emotion, wants and desires. I opened my eyes and
that’s when it hit me, this was a part of the ascension.
My mind collided with
spatial dimensions I never knew existed. I rose higher and higher beyond my
physical body as it stood still. Prying eyes gleamed at me with jealousy and I
couldn’t stop to admire them. It was happening to me, I was gone, and no longer
a prisoner to my own masks I wore over the years. Suddenly the big bang hit my
brain hard, sending me to the ground, which made me feel like I was connected
to an ocean as the tears fell.
